I push the black blindfold over my forehead. Both hands fly to cover my eyes from the much-too-bright afternoon sunlight. I blink rapidly, trying to adjust as my eyes water a bit.

“Where are we?” I ask, taking in the driveway we stand in and the neighborhood around us.
