Two days later…

It’s pouring down rain, and I’m dead-tired when I pull into the driveway. Five days away is too many. Noting no lights are on in the office above the garage, I jog to the house.

I leave my copies of the paperwork on the island in our kitchen. I’ll file them in the office tomorrow. Right now, I need to see Ian, the babies’ bump, and Ryan.
