“I love the smell of popcorn,” Emma purrs when I pass her a bowl then set mine on the armrest.

“Need anything else before we start?” I ask, positioning my pillow on the far side of my seat and tossing the blanket into the chair beside mine.

Emma places her pillow on her far armrest and pulls a blanket over her. She settles her steaming hot bowl of popcorn into her lap. Taking the remote in hand, I press play, starting our movie.
