I am ready for this horrible Friday night to end. My head swivels as I enter the restaurant. I find Emma and her date sitting in a booth against the far wall. I sidle up to the bar, attempting not to draw her attention. I am not at all happy with the selection of matches available to her. Although I chose who I found to be the best of them, I felt the need to check on her. It pleases me to see she sits opposite him in the booth with three feet of table between them.
