GAVIN'S POV

The moment I stepped out of the car, it hit me—a strange, tingling pull right in my chest. It wasn’t pain, just... something raw and primal.  I paused briefly, glancing around the street as a breeze brushed past me. Something was here. Or someone. But I couldn’t put a name to the feeling, so I shrugged it off, masking the sudden shift in my energy as I headed toward the ice cream shop.
