Haven’s POV

I lean against the back wall and stare at the wall in front of me blankly. My feet have formed blisters in the exact same spot for the past three nights, rubbing a hole through the side of my foot. I do not know how it is possible for shoes to eat feet, but the ones I decided to wear for the past three nights must have formed some kind of pact to make me miserable.
