The city was still asleep, while I studied the message Marco forwarded to me from last night in my car. It contained coordinates to Jake's location and we were making preparations to apprehend him.

Now, his location glowed faintly on the digital map open on my dashboard screen.

Industrial zone. Northwest side.

That was where Jake was supposed to be.

If Marco’s lead was right, the rat we’d been searching for had been feeding information to both the Syndicate and the Russians. ...
