“Keep her still.” One of the voices in the Van said from the passenger seat.

“She’s not going anywhere.” another replied from beside me. “She moves again, I’ll make her regret it.”

I mumbled something against the gag — I didn’t even know what. Maybe a curse or maybe a prayer, but it came out as a strained, muffled sound that earned a short, cruel chuckle from the man sitting closest.
