I couldn’t sit still the next day, my skin felt too tight.

Every time Dario looked at me, I smiled bigger than I needed to. And laughed louder when he cracked jokes.

I acted like I was sane and everything was perfect.

I pretended as if the love we made last night fixed us, and I wasn’t planning to go behind his back again.
