The next morning was like a completely different world. It felt so good, safe and warm again.

Not like the cage it had been these past few days.

I never fully realized how much I loved Dario or was emotionally tied to him, until everything almost broke.

His arm was warm around my waist, pulling me back against him.

I stayed still for a moment, just...feeling the warmth of his body.

Last night was intense.

It had cracked something open between us... and sealed back together ...
