So close…

I needed so badly to take the edge off. The image of Eirikur fluttered across my closed eyes. The way he swung his sword. The way his body moved like a trained warrior. I imagined that strength on top of me.

I’d only gotten a taste of it against that tree in the moonlight. I’d only felt a small bit of how good he could make me feel. My robe was splayed open on the bed, naked to the cold, but my body felt so hot.
