Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I adjusted my dress and looked at Wendy.

“I’ll get it,” Wendy said, already walking toward it. I turned to look at her, probably expecting it to be another hotel staff or something. But the moment she opened the door, she froze completely.

“Wendy?” I called softly. “Who is—”
