The moment Wendy asked that question, my entire body froze.

Everything inside me stopped, even the sound of the rain outside seemed to fade out. My heart started racing so fast in my chest.

And then I burst into tears all over again, my chest shaking so violently it hurt. “I do, Wendy,” I cried. “I love him. I… I fell in love with him.” My voice cracked, and I covered my face, sobbing harder. “Wendy, I really love Tyler. I love him so much… so, so much.”
