Ylana chose a long-sleeved red dress to wear to brunch at her father’s penthouse. The hair and makeup team came early just for her and had placed a headband, with a tiny Santa hat attached, onto her head.

Hands rested on her hips. “The hat is a nice touch,” Rowan whispered into her ear.
