Chapter 3

Morning came by so fast, time. It was usually like that when you were travelling nonstop. I stretched, my body still humming with the lingering pleasure of the night before, Bill’s hands on me, his mouth hot against mine, the way he had taken me with a possessiveness that left me breathless.

A slow, satisfied smile curved my lips as I rolled onto my side, reaching for my phone to check the time.
