Chapter 3

My room felt cold, and I knew they were here. Then, from the corner of my eyes, I saw them. My pulse jumped, my nipples tightening against the thin cotton of my sleep shirt before I even opened my eyes. When I did, I found them waiting.

Aiden stood at the foot of the bed, his massive frame blocking out the moonlight. The only thing I could recognise was the glow of his golden eyes, but from his body I could tell it was my Aiden.
