My steps falter slightly as I trail off the stage with Lyra by my side, the sound of applause still filling the air behind us. My heart pounds, and though I feel a surge of pride bubbling within me, there’s also a deep exhaustion settling in as the adrenaline begins to fade. It’s done. I accomplished what I never thought I could do.
