In the solitude of my office, I stare at a collection of invoices stacked on my desk—the latest reports from an array of private investigators. Denver, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix. Big cities, small towns, everywhere I could think to look. Every lead is fruitless. Sienna has vanished, as though she never walked this earth.
