The misting rain made the path below Hadleigh’s feet extra slick. She was barely able to walk in a straight line, even when shifted. As she scanned ahead, her vision intermittently doubled. Upon nearing the Ramsey's, ten soldier wolves ran to her. She was swaying with vertigo as she shifted to human.

"Hadleigh, are you okay?" Evelyn asked. "We've been looking for you for hours."
