If it weren’t for all the movies I’d watched, I’d swear houses like this didn’t exist. Like my jaws wouldn't be intact. I thought all of that shit was green screen. But no—this was real.

It looked like something magically summoned from a fantasy film or a billionaire’s dream. Marble columns taller than palm trees, windows so wide they could double as cinema screens, and a driveway that could host a damn parade.

Even the air smelled different like polished wood ...
