His words were crueller than his actions. He just had to hit me where it hurts the most.

"I don't need love, Betty, when I have you." Those words gave me chills. What did he mean? He enjoyed the thrill of destroying me instead of genuine affection..

Was he so damaged inside that he was repulsed by love? He knew he was broken but this was beyond my imagination.
