He was pretty pissed. I couldn't blame him though. From his point of view, I was the reckless fiancée who fled the engagement party without a single word. I just left.

Anyone would be angry on that note, but how a regular person expressed their anger would have been different. I definitely wouldn't be blindfolded and stripped naked completely.
