Betty's POV

The moment wasn't perfect or dreamy. We were in a hospital garden surrounded by the night breeze, rustling of trees, the endless sky and the distant sound of traffic. I had imagined him saying those words genuinely several times.

I never imagined it being this way or me crying as a result. A smile slowly curled up his lips. "Thank you." He said pulling into a crushing hug. The familiar citrus scent enveloped me..

"Thank you for loving a fool like me."
