The next few days blurred together. I barely left the apartment, choosing to stay hidden while everything outside settled. As expected, the scandal disappeared almost overnight.

Every blog that had posted about it suddenly issued public apologies. Articles vanished like they had never existed. It was obvious Ivan had cleaned it up.

That alone told me everything I needed to know. There was no way he was going to let a scandal related to him last for long.
