The ride to the Rivers' Home was a blur of pain and whimpers. It was the longest car ride ever..it felt like forever for us to arrive at the Rivers estate.

Ivan didn’t say anything. He remained quiet as he carried me out.

The cold air still clung to me as Ivan carried me across the driveway of the Rivers estate. My body was trembling from both cramps and the sudden chill, but I barely had the energy to care. The night had already humiliated me enough.
