Rowan's POV

The sun was starting its descent toward the horizon when Calton gathered the ten warriors selected for the mission. Rowan stood among them with his medical bag slung over his shoulder and he was getting anxious about what lay ahead.

The rogue alpha climbed onto a makeshift platform so everyone in camp could see him and his voice carried across the clearing with authority.
