Diana's POV

My heart was pounding as I followed the guard through the corridors toward Alpha Kieran's chambers. What had I done this time? Was he finally going to punish me for sneaking into the dungeons?

My mind raced with all the terrible possibilities.

The guard stopped outside Alpha Kieran's door and knocked firmly. “The slave Diana is here, Alpha,” he called out.

“Send her in,” came Alpha Kieran's voice from inside.
