Diana's POV

The rest of the day dragged on like it would never end. Every time I scrubbed a floor or changed bedsheets or carried supplies from one room to another, my mind was focused on the evening ahead and what we might discover in the library. The confrontation with Kieran about the piano still weighed heavily on my chest, but I pushed those thoughts aside because I couldn't afford to dwell on his pain or my own right now.

I had a mission tonight and nothing could distract me ...
