Kieran's POV

I woke up before dawn as usual. My morning routine was always the same - wake up from nightmares, destroy the bedsheets with my claws, then punish my body in the training room until the memories faded enough for me to function.

But today I had more important matters to attend to. I needed to inspect the northern border and see if Damien had followed through with my orders about the skull display.
