My stomach dropped when I saw Alpha Drake sitting on that massive black horse surrounded by hundreds of armed warriors who looked ready to tear our entire camp apart.

Calton stepped forward from where he'd been standing near his bone throne and his scarred face showed confusion. "Alpha Drake, this is unexpected because I wasn't aware we had a scheduled meeting today. Is there something urgent you need to discuss with me?"
