Honestly, I had no idea how I managed to convince myself that sneaking out of the pack house in the middle of the night to travel through the dangerous neutral territory was a good idea. My hands were shaking while I pulled on the dark traveling clothes Raven had stolen for me, and my heart was racing so fast I thought it might burst through my ribs.
