Sherry's POV:

As soon as I heard footsteps, I held in my sobbing voice and waited for someone to speak or do something. When the cell door opened, I quickly moved backward.

"Hi," a gentle female voice greeted me, followed by a motherly scent.

I swallowed hard and sighed in relief as tears continued to roll down my cheeks. Her gentle voice and scent reminded me so much of Nana.

"Are you here to kill me?" I asked in a low tone.

"What? No way. I'm here to take you out of here," ...
