After learning about Debby's connection to Damon and now to Jay, I felt relieved, but at the same time, I wanted to know how he was doing. He was still Micah's father, whether I liked it or not, and eventually, he would either find her or she would seek him out. I needed to resolve everything with him before that could happen.
