Debby's POV:

I sighed for the second time while stirring the soup in the pot.

I had been given money by Damon, yet I had no idea how to use it. By now, I was supposed to find someone who would help me deliver and, at the same time, find something for myself to do.

My main fear was how people would react in the delivery room if, by chance, my wolf pulled through. They would run out in fear.

I couldn't go back to Damon's pack or Johnson's, and I knew no one here who would help ...
