I was woken up by the sound of the door closing carelessly.

I quickly sat upright, my eyes blurry, and blinked a few times. Once my vision cleared, I looked at the window.

The curtains were wide open, revealing the nighttime darkness of the room with the lights turned off.

I sadly looked at my empty bedside, then lay down, ignoring the fact that I was completely naked.
