I walked out of Ian's office, furious.

"Why?" I asked myself in a low tone as I marched outside the pack house.

Why weren't they all taking my side when I was part of their family? No one knew Roxanne better than I did, and no one was a better match for her than I was. I deserved to be with her, I deserved to be her mate, not some bastard who came from nowhere and had no idea what makes her happy or sad.
