Lilith awoke with a start, the memories finally ceasing. She looked around, and wondered where she was. She was in a small room, on a smaller bed. On the opposite wall was a TV, turned off. The window was slammed shut with heavy blinds to keep sunlight from intruding.

And for some reason, her body was sore, and there were a million little sharp pains over her. She raised her arm and found bite marks on it. Not vampire ones, but human ones…what had she been doing ...
