There are a lot of things a person can get used to walking up to. Birds singing on a windowsill, the smell of fresh coffee, the crackle of sizzling bacon.

For me, waking up with Robin was something I quickly got used to. His warmth, the feel of his arms wrapped firmly but gently around me. By the time I was awake enough to notice these things, Robin would have already woken up, and he would give me another wakeup call with a kiss on the forehead.
