On my way back to my room, I came across Catalina and Lisa standing in the hallway. I wanted to walk past them quietly, but Catalina suddenly shoved me, and I landed hard on the floor, hitting my butt.

Laughter echoed around me as they made fun of me. I clenched my fists, feeling the heat of anger boil inside. Nyx, my wolf, stirred restlessly, ready to take control, but I forced myself to stay calm.
