I woke up in a cold sweat and for a moment I’m not sure where I was.

Then I took in the familiar surroundings of Cayden and I’s bedroom. My hands automatically reached for my husband-to-be, but I came up short.

There’s a post-it on his pillow that read, ‘Had an early meeting, didn’t want to wake you. Love you.’
