I dropped off Mary and James at the latter’s apartment. I was embarrassed about my outburst at the restaurant and I knew that I ruined the night. I felt guilty for picking a fight with Rose when she was enjoying her dinner with her friends, but I thought she would open up about what she was hiding from me when she was comfortable and surrounded by people she loved.
