My phone buzzed. I picked it up and looked at the screen to see two texts: one from Julie and one from my mom.

Julie: Mom said you returned from your trip to Paris. When are you coming over? Mom is driving me crazy, and I need to know if you can help me financially.

Mom: When are you coming to the house? Julie is going crazy, and she's about to drive me crazy.
