It feels like we've been walking for days. My feet ache, and the uneven terrain doesn't help. Not to mention we haven't seen a single thing this entire time. Nothing except grass and dirt and trees and ponds of water. Everything looks exactly the same, and if I didn't know better, I'd think we were walking in circles. I haven't even seen so much as a squirrel, which is really disturbing. And now that I'm aware of it, I don't hear any birds, either.
