I clutched my bag close to my chest, glancing backward every second.

Fear gripped me, goosebumps spread all over my body. Someone was definitely following me and I swear I saw a shadow.

Lord, help me. I prayed silently in my mind.

It was just 8pm but everywhere was dark. Alice wasn't here since she left earlier after her morning shift.

I shoved my phone out of my bag, dialing Alice's number. It kept ringing but she wasn't picking ...
