Today was so hectic, the cake shop didn't stop trooping with customers.

I checked the time and it says, 8:30PM. It was past closing time and I ought to be on my way home already but I could only leave when my boss was around and it was taking to long for him to come around.

I kept glancing, peeping at the doorstep hopping for Jon to come in but I didn't catch a glimpse of him.

Argh, I groaned inwardly ...
