Lucien

Lucien could hear the occasional slam of a door when tempers flared beyond whispers, as he walked through the hall.

Rhea sat on the low stone wall beside the stables. Her knees were drawn up, her silver hair catching what little light there was. She didn't look at him when he approached, though he knew she sensed him. His wolf certainly sensed her, as it eased the moment her scent reached him. The tension in his chest loosened despite himself.
