 I ask my mate to walk in the garden. But she is distant and cold towards me. I don't like that. Did I do something to offend her? 

"Apphia, are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?" I ask. 

"Why don't you want to spend time with me inside? Is it because you don't want to be seen with me?"  she snaps suddenly, and I'm taken aback. " Do you not want to be seen with me in public?"
