The visions kept coming, each one worse than the last. But they all had the same wrongness to them, movements too perfect, words too harsh, emotions too extreme.

"I want to help you accept this," Silas said gently, his voice full of compassion. "Fighting the truth only causes more pain. I don't want to see you suffer."

But through it all, I kept repeating her name.
