Anna's POV:

The villa has never felt so large.

I sit on the sitting room couch and then I stand up. I walk to the window and look at the lake. I sit back down. Mia brings tea and puts it on the table and puts her hand briefly on my shoulder in the way she does when words are less useful than the gesture.
