I step out of the bathroom. My clothes cling to me, dripping water across the floor.

Alexander's sitting on the edge of the bed. Watching me.

"You got in the shower with your clothes on."

"I was upset."

"I know." He stands. "Anna—"

"I need to get to combat training." I move to the closet. Pull out workout clothes. "I've missed too many days since—since the convenience store."
